Privacy
The information that is available on the Internet is very alarming. Due to technological advances and new media, information like your social security number, your address, and your credit card number is on our devices and on the Internet. Whether you are signing up for a credit check or trying to apply for a job online, you are providing sensitive information online with the hope that it is protected somehow.
Another concern regarding privacy there is about new media is the issue around true privacy. Despite putting your social media accounts on private settings, there is still certain basic information that is made available to other people you may not be connected to. Also, that information is not removed or deleted from the Internet after you delete your account so the issue of privacy is also around that information being accessible somehow despite you deleting it.
