If I was hired by Baruch to use new media to improve the College, I think the first thing I would propose is a campaign to get students to follow Baruch on social media. I would try to set up a campaign where if a student follows Baruch on social media, they would get a gift card or something. People would say it doesn't work because then those people can unfollow after but I plan to set up secret raffles that would entice students to keep following the accounts. I plan on using the social media page  to keep the students updated with important news to know about the school.

I also want to use new media to incorporate it into more classes and curriculums. I would encourage professors to use blogs instead of assigning written responses individually. To improve the school, I would also try to incorporate new media into the Starr career center. I think there are many ways new technology that has developed could assist with interviewing and job applications, etc.
